Is it possible to be an atheist and also be afraid of ghosts?

atheism is EXCLUSIVELY the lack of conviction that there is a god. nothing else. so whatever ghosts are is not necesarily a god? I don't know i don't believe in ghosts but i do think ghosts and gods are conceptually different.

You find it hard to believe that there is an invisible god who created the entire world, but you're okay with invisible spirits that haven't left this Earth. Being an atheist means that you do not believe in God. So being afraid of ghosts has nothing to do with being religious. There are so many Christians I know that would laugh at you if you mentioned about seeing a ghost.

But God is a spiritual being. I would venture to believe that you don't believe in god. You don't believe in the spiritual world, so why would you be afraid of ghost?

Besides, god is completely made up! Ghosts come from actual dead people! People who, unlike god, actually existed at some point in time.
