Why are some people not afraid of the paranormal?

This is a topic I never really understood like I have some friends who when it comes to horror they aren’t afraid of movies that involve ghost. But are afraid of things like zombies because it’s more plausible I look at these people like there idiots I’m sorry I just do cause your claiming one fictional creator is more plausible then another fictional creator at least to some.

I feel like in this day and age of trying to make fictional things more realistic for the big screen people have forgotten that at the end of the day a lot of this stuff is made up. I’m not scared of modern day zombies I’m not there just corpses running around and a couple bullets to the head and they are why would I be afraid if something that I can kill one and two something I can kill with zero remorse.

But zombies like the ones from the call of duty series at least the old games always creeped me out because they still to the core of zombies supernatural they are dead things that have come back not because of some disease they are just back and they keep coming you can’t kill supernatural zombies they don’t die even the ones like the ones from the cod games what alway scared me about them is that they just keep coming and with each wave they are stronger and faster.

That’s why I fear things like ghost or demons they can’t be explained you can’t kill or fight a ghost you are literally defenseless. It’s they classic feeling of powerlessness and fear of the unknown in one. Even if you don’t believe in ghost I feel like you’d have to be ignorant not to fear them after all they do say ignorance is bliss.
