The atheist faith isn't an organized one; it doesn't have the unity to teach anything. But it's entirely possible to engage in basic human decency without religion telling you to; we DO have that capability as reasoning beings.
I'd be a lot more curious about the agenda of the charity rejecting volunteers for lacking a shared religion. I find that extremely dubious.

There is no agenda.
And there are non religious charity organizations as well.
i call your bluff, those "charity" are for research, not helping the innumerable poor.
