Why hasn't God not answered 1 prayer on over 7 years?

Only answer if you believe in God. Ice prayed and worked towards my goals the last 7 years. I've only survived and had not 1 prayer answered.

I've prayed help lose weight. Joined a few gyms, hot yoga, cycle ans hike!! Eat healthy

Prayed for a Partner or even a good friend. Nothing, some casual friends who come and go. Dating is a joke.

Prayed for a good career. I have lived in 3 cities. I was laid off few months the back, got a job at a temp agency they contract ended despite it being temp to hire!

I'm angry, fed up a s don't know why Nothing has worked out.

I want to start off by saying that your feelings are valid, and you are not alone. I’ve experienced similar in my own walk with God. I want you to know that it’s okay to be angry, it’s okay to grieve the things that were and aren’t and might not be. There have been times where I’ve felt like God wasn’t listening to my prayers and that He was too busy blessing everyone else. I felt like God wasn’t paying attention and that He didn’t care about me and the things that were important to me.

But God was paying attention, and He still pays attention. I was the one who had to learn to say the words “Not my will, but Yours be done.” I needed to realize that God wanted to bless me beyond measure, but I had to be ready to receive those blessings. That meant thanking God for what I already had, and even thanking Him for the things He had to take away. And thanking Him for when He had to withhold something from me.
Don’t worry about what Non-believers have, because in the end they are missing the most important thing…something you have that they don’t—a relationship with God.

God works on His time schedule, not yours. He answers prayer, always, even if it is a no. Perhaps you are doing something that is impeding your prayers. For instance, Psalms 66.19 "If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear." If you are willfully sinning God will not hear you. He usually does not listen to prayers that entertain your pleasures. If you ask for a Lamborghini, He will most likely not give you what you ask. He also says that "All things work together for the good" So if it is something that is not good for you, then you will probably not get the "Yes" answer you wanted. But don't give up praying. God wants to give you things and wants you to ask Him for them. But, it has to be in accordance to His Will. The previous reasons I quoted are usually not according to His will.

You pray, and build intention, within that intention is the prayer answered - if it is good for you.

You probably want a load of crap to harm your neighbors with. So it could be your evil intent keeping you back.

It does not work like that. God is a faith based entity. There is no real proof He exists. You have to have faith that He does.

God does exist, it's something within that knows and I can't dent the truth of that ever. I can't explain..

@exitseven If you look at the complexity of the human body - as well as other mammals - you would not believe it could even possibly be evolution. That is like if I ride my bike enough it will turn into the Starship Enterprise. Complex things need designers, including the human body. They don't happen by chance.

From the Islamic perspective, Dua that is supplication works in three ways, We believe this life is a test for the hereafter, so our creator is testing us, if the test is hard, reward will be more. Now Allah may accept your Dua and give you whatever you are asking for or he might weived any harm from your life or he will reward you in the day of judgment. So our Dua doesn't get wasted anyway. However there are certain ways, rules or conditions to get better results to your Duas.

It could be many things. For me when things go wrong I've been told to do a self exam. That's one thing another is Gods will. That's what he wants for you may not be what your praying for. I myself use my prayers to ask my father to look over someone I know of that needs his help and I mostly ask for forgiveness for my mess ups and I also thank him my blessings. Collie
