To christians: have you ever observed how sheep act and the relationship between shepherds and these sheep?

What I want to say is that Jesus compared the good Christian to a sheep and himself to a shepherd... so observe them... what catches my attention the most is that the sheep trusts their shepherd completely, they are extremely docile, they always respond to the call from him

I had a chance to see wild sheep at bolder city unfortunately no shepherds around. Several sheep around 😊 very interesting and beautiful to see.

There isn't much of one. But the relationship between the dogs that herd them and the sheep is interesting.

One could argue that the dogs and sheep have much in common. They both have their behaviour controlled by the shepherd.

@AngryCarl2 But the dogs, once trained, pretty much operate independently. In fact much of their behavior is instinct bred in over centuries.

Dogs won't herd sheep without instructions from the shepherd. They're as stupid as the sheep, just stupid on a higher level.

@AngryCarl2 Once they're trained they will herd without instruction. Even untrained dogs of those breeds will sometimes try to herd children.
