Matthew 25 says God will separate the sheep from the goat before God punishes the goats and rewards the sheep, what are your thoughts on it?

What I get from the goats, is that if you neglect those who appear to have no spiritual status or social status or charm when they are suffering, God will make your life as a Christian insanely difficult and you will earn your religion at the cost of tribulations and traumas.

And the sheep mean, when you show compassion and kindness towards those that appear to have no spiritual or social or financial or domestic or romantic value, and care for their needs whether emotional or material or moral or religious, that God will make your life as a Christian easy, comfortable, safe, secure, appetizing, happy, joyful, sweet and deeply satisfying.

God nor jesus have a religion

Or do they tell us to be a certain religion

If you look at religion people, it's their password. It's their church that tells them who to be and how to be and the guidelines that they have to follow



I believe in God I believe in Jesus. That's why I am spiritual. It is a much higher calling than being led by a church or an organization. that controls you.

I have a simpler interpretation.. I think that the sheep are his children/followers (Christians) and the goats are the unbelievers.. And on judgement day he'll separate them..

I'm not very religious but the way some people think of God confuses me. For example, why would you worship a God who would be so petty as to "make your life as a Christian insanely difficult?"

God doesn't make life for anyone difficult.. It's always been more of a warning that as a Christian your life might not be easy because most people won't follow the same ways, and Philosophy as you do.. Life is somewhat difficult for the non believer, let alone the believer..
