I'm not here to spread hate I'm just curious

I've been confused my entire life about god the universe just normal stuff i was a Christian became atheist then became agnostic, i have read the bible and i loved it but i felt confused i started reading the Quran, hadith and it was great i was going to convert i thought but then i read some stuff that left a sour taste in my mouth, don't get me wrong its not perfect but i understand a lot of stuff now, i understand that the Quran is the word of god after reading the Quran and the bible i realise they are 2 different gods i use to think they are same sorry I'm going off track, so the Quran is suppose to be the last never changing but this is what left a bad taste in my mouth

The Prophet married Aisha when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old

this is what disturbed me the most mainly because under Sharia grown men would marry little girls and if you are a true Muslim you cannot say no because of your daughter age and now i can't look at Islam the same

I'm wondering how can people follow a prophet that did this I'm not here to spread hate just curious

All three Abrahamic faiths believe in the same God and prophets. Their differences are mainly around culture, politics and language.

As for your marriage assertions. Christians, Jews, and everyone between, married their daughters and sons off at that age in that era. The average age anyone would live to was about 40. So you were practically an "adult" after living a quarter of your life.

But the accounts are translated to have Aisha (ra) between 17-21 depending on the age of events one takes. But regardless, if you accept she was married, then you can't argue with anything, as only adults can marry under law. Even the people at that time didn't waste time on arguing the age.
