I'm thinking about being thankfully for all our blessings. But I want to include something for everyone.

I'm not American but have travelled extensively in the US many times (including a coast to coast road & rail trip a few years ago) but have never been there during Thanksgiving

The city in Asia I currently work & live in has quite a lot of American expats, so many of the international restaurants & hotels have Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow - I'm going to an American bar/restaurant with 5 friends from the US, the Thanksgiving dinner looks as if it'll be amazing

Not sure who might say grace but will prepare something brief, just in case !

I used to have memorized a collection of nature- and harvest-themed prayers from my three years at a Woldorf school. There's some criticism/controversy surrounding the Woldorf's unusual spiritual fountain, but removed from that context, the blessings are nice. Look them up.

I don't say grace much anymore, but we still have a tradition of going around the table and naming things we are thankful for. In addition to the usual "friends" and "family", I always say I'm thankful for electricity, sanitation, and running water.

Seriously, we have no idea how good we have it. Medicine and residential infrastructure are man-made miracles.

Go and get three (or more) pieces of construction paper in fall colors. Next cut out turkey shaped cards and place them in front of every plate at dinner. Then instruct everyone to write one thing in their card and then paste all the pieces to a huge white sheet for display
