What do you think of Bristol airport's multifaith area?

First of all it's a good job it's got the words "multi faith" because I think that stick figure looks like it's about to give head. I could have got into a lot of trouble.

Bristol airport has come under criticism for creating a multi-faith area that looks like a bus shelter. I think it's great because Jews and Muslims love to squeeze into tiny spaces together for a prayer before boarding a plane.

But what's your thoughts on it?

Great idea don't think it will work! Especially being outside away from everything looks like a horror movie about to start!

Really I would just rather pray in public then to go there!

Air travel is so safe the most dangerous part of going on a trip by air is the drive to the airport... this along with studies (by religious groups) showing that prayer had the same outcomes as random chance (except in the case of when someone is sick as knowing people are praying for them can cause a patient to decline treatment or feel bad for not getting better, exacerbating their health problems) ... prayer does, at best, nothing... therefore, these structures are a waste of. space and materials.

@strateguy632 I didn't do the study. The study was done scientifically, analyzed the statistics, which ignores conjecture and bias.

Personally, I find that having the perspective of Laplace gives me hope... I have hope in science, and the education of the doctors, and that I maintain my body well enough to survive... when it comes to blood sacrifice and death cults, when it comes to monsterous, sociopathic deities, I have no need for that hypothesis.

I have never met a multifaith person.

Seeing that not too much space is wasted on them, makes me think that Bristol is a very economic place.

As for Bristol's international relevance itself, I have a feeling that they also could think of a low-budget shortened runway?

The concept seems like something an atheist would come up with. But that is fucking atrocious, even for Bristol.

It's a bus shelter, being peddled as a "faith area" simply so they can add "features" to that terrible hovel of an airport.

my first response was to imagine a boxing rink, then i saw the picture outdoors isolated. i think each religious one would be terrified to enter with a competing faith, away from witnesses.
