You only come to this life once. And all your life you have to struggle, fight, work for a little bit of stupid paper called money, but you can not enjoy life most of the time. Then you die. That's why we need heaven.

"Needing" heaven doesn't mean there is one. You mean needing the belief in heaven. But I would equate that to addiction rather than need. Like all addictions, seeking it out causes one to forfeit time they could have spent improving their lives beyond what their addiction could ever provide. The struggle of which you speak is due in large part to the fact that so many people have given up on improving life and instead put all their hopes on an afterlife. This has allowed a few rich people to have everything they could possibly want, and more, because the rest of us are too easily distracted by the scraps we must compete with each other to obtain.

It isn't a real need. It is entirely an imagined need. Lizards and potatoes don't need to believe in heaven to survive because they don't have the brain power needed to wonder about it. It is a need that exists exclusively for those with the brain power required to imagine it.

It's all bullshit. Society should have never advanced past the hunter gatherer stage. Unfortunately now in most places you can't just go out to the sticks, build a hut next to a river, catch fish and cook them over a fire, gather some wild produce, make some cave babies with your cave woman, and call it a nice caveman's life. We put too much mayonnaise on the sandwich of life and now it's a soggy mess. We're trying to do too much, got way too big for our own britches. We are obsessed with going to heaven, space exploration, technology and AI, money, power, etc. People forgot that all they need is food, shelter, safety, and love. If they want more than that, they have lost their way.

I agree with the asker! That's what it's been like for me too. Except I'd like to add that school - all grades, was like a prison for me. I hated it. I cut school a lot. I even had to go see a court judge because I was missing too. uch school. So what! I liked being at home not trapped in some building I couldn't leave. I wonder if anyone else feels this way?
I think if you have money in your family and don't have to go through life constantly worrying then maybe all this life stuff might have meaning but nothing compared to what heaven will be like.

the things is the environment changes in such a way, that biological organisms are forced to adapt. and in order to adapt in a quick enough manner to not go exctinct, it needs a fast enough procreation and a fast enough elimination of the "outdated" varians. that's why we have to die. if the environment never changed, we could be immortal.
