+1 yNo, I don't believe God will put someone perfect for me and cost me my connection with him, I believe if the person is perfect for me, my religion is included, after all them believing in what I believe is one of the main things that will make them perfect for me

I am not a religious practitioner but I was born within a given religion that I grew up learning.
I would never change it.
Funny enough I'm seeing a religious girl of a different faith right now and we had this conversation. I told her not a chance. I don't think she fully accepted that even though she said she did.
And she keeps saying her kids will be raised in her religion, in my mind I'm thinking those won't be kids had with me.23 ReplyI'm not part of a religion. I'm an agnostic who's only atheist when confronted with religion. But I would definitely be the type to support them on their spiritual journeys. For instance, someone I live with is very religious & I still talk to them about it. Though, I prefer to speak about the certain concepts in the religion that can apply to secular individuals as well. Similar to how a philosopher would talk about different religions & try to think of important takeaways.

but logic, if believe can't prove god either way, then that leaves doubt because can't know, if so follow the wise, i mean the majority of nobel prize winners who are Christian.

@strateguy632 Sorry but not really interested in debating about this stuff. I view it as futile. 🤣
I mean I feel like you can't change your religion honestly for your lover. Either you believe in that religion or you don't.
But I'm open to checking out other religions at least. If she can convince me that hers is the real thing, then of course.

@cherriibly let him be. The base of the pride is vain. The world will see the uprising which will break their pride... Just like it has been broken several times throughout the history.
