What do you think of the bible saying that sometimes not getting what you want makes you a better person?

If you look at people who can buy things ordinary people can't like Trump, or people who can date anybody they want like Cristiano Ronaldo, it's obvious that sometimes too much access to riches and luxury can make you corrupt. There is also a lot of deceit in upper society where people fake their personality. Poor people might lie to, but a very rich person who has thousands of job connections that they need to impress is more likely to lie than a poor person who won't lose everything if their reputation is tarnished by a few negative remarks by some guy at the restaurant they visit. There is evidence that religious belief changes dating behaviour in women, but not in men. Men are just as careless in their morals in dating regardless of their religion or non religion. I would say that money can also change behaviour in men regardless of how religious or non religious they are cause I've met religious people that pray and fast for over 4 hours a day that are very very very very corrupt due to their high social status and high income. And because they are so religious, they do not even know they are corrupt. They are righteous in their own eyes just like Job, the king of Edom was when he suffered.
