The bible says God is more likely to give you good things you did not earn, if you had to experience painful events you did not deserve to have happen to you. If you notice, it seems over 90% of famous people grew up in abusive homes, and their fame might be the luck that those problems granted them. It was not guaranteed salvation, but it was an opportunity at salvation.

1. Job’s Story
Job 1:1, 21 – “There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright… Then Job said, ‘The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.’”

Job was a righteous man who suffered greatly, showing that suffering is not always a result of sin.
Job 5:7 – “Yet man is born to trouble as surely as sparks fly upward.”

Even good people face hardships.

2. Psalms
Psalm 73:3-5 – “For I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. They have no struggles; their bodies are healthy and strong.”

The psalmist laments the suffering of the righteous in contrast to the apparent ease of the wicked.
Psalm 34:19 – “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him from them all.”

Suffering is common, but God ultimately provides deliverance.
Psalm 44:22 – “Yet for your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

Sometimes suffering is part of living faithfully.

3. New Testament
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 – “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.”

Suffering can have a purpose in God’s greater plan.
1 Peter 3:14-17 – “Even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed… But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God.”

Enduring suffering for righteousness is honorable.
Romans 8:18 – “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”
John 15:18-20 – “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also.”

4. Proverbs and Wisdom Literature
Ecclesiastes 7:15 – “In this meaningless life of mine I have seen both of these: the righteous perishing in their righteousness, and the wicked living long in their wickedness.”

Acknowledges the paradox of life: suffering doesn’t always align with moral behaviour.

Things are going to happen in your life. Honestly, doesn't matter if we lose the ones we love, over time, we'll move on. U can look at that as a way God is making u stronger, but what do we need to get stronger for? There's always going to be things we don't understand, especially thinking how God is working in our life's. We just won't know till that day comes. But even then, will we?
