Is there a difference between teaching a child that God exists and that all people are created equal?

Obviously, both are just beliefs. You can't prove or disprove either. Lots of intelligent people have agreed and disagreed with both beliefs. Sure, the belief that all people are created equal is fashionable today, but that does not make it a fact. And the belief that God exists has been fashionable at times too.

There is no essential difference between teaching a child two beliefs.
It's totally different. One of those beliefs really is true, while the other one not so much.
