The moment I starred carrying the Bible around school everyone started making presumptions about me and every move or thing I said was scrutinized to the fullest. Now I was introvert back then, had few friends and spoke even less. But I remember the first time I get angry my faith was mocked and thrown back into my face as if I had failed to be this "perfect Christian".

Now religious hypocrisy I will grant you for even Jesus in his day called out the religious experts see Matthew 23. But we also must recognize confirmation bias and projection on both sides

As a Christian myself who knows how imperfect he is, I don't ever call other people out on their sins. And not even because of a religious reason. But because Christians are not above sin any more than anyone else. In fact, many Christians are worse than a lot of unbelievers.

I have a former friend who did that when I called him out on always taking long to respond back to me and he said "I admit I should be talking to you more, but you are a whore monger and you dont see me constantly bringing that up." He was referring to me always going to strip clubs. Yet he eventually used me with helping his mom (he responded back fine with that and didn't take forever with that when he needed something).

He also tried to use me for money to get me to move to Ohio with him for rent money and while doing that he didn't take forever to respond and went back to forever responding back when I said no. He acts like he has been and is a better Christian yet did stuff like that. And he said how he is not perfect yet kept doing the same crap with ignoring and taking long to respond. Yet he calls out my imperfections. What do you think?

Kinda reminds me of those uber-holy rollers (like my ex-sister) who preach all things virtuous but still fuck people over any chance they get, even their own mother!! He miraculously didn't take forever to respond back for both things and he hit me up first, which he rarely did when after moved from cali to elsewhere. He went back to the same shit of taking forever to respond after he was done needing those two things.
