Assuming heaven is real, why wouldn't animals go there?

They'd be a creation of God. The Bible says they'll be trees, meadows, etc. Why would humans and plant life be there but not animals?

pets probably go due to helping humans but animals in general jungle stuff just "goes down" to the land.

God never said there'd be no animals. It's a conclusion some (but not all) Christians came to for some unknown reason

I figure they would go. God wants us to be happy. He knows we like our pets. So I’m sure he’d accommodate pets.

say for example... we both met a great person in our lives... but one met that person as a kid, never as an adult... and the other met the same person as an adult around age 40's, never as a kid...

then the two people died at very old age, while the mutual friend died age 40... how do they all meet once in heaven?
