Especially if one takes into consideration the fact that many wouldn't make it, and would wind up in hell for one reason or another. Heaven for me wouldn't be the perfect place of happiness and bliss if I knew there were others who were enduring eternal torment for simply not living up to certain standards, or failing to accept (or even just questioning) certain dogmatic assumptions about the supernatural.

I have always been puzzled by the christian concept of heaven. If you ask a preacher to describe what people will be doing there, they all give the same answer. You will be eternally standing in front of God's throne, wailing and groveling, repeatedly telling him how wonderful he is and how much of a pathetic wretch you were before he saved you. When asked what our purpose of existing is, we are told it is to praise God for eternity. Basically, that means that our only purpose is to grovel before him and tell him how great he is. You literally will not be doing anything else. Christians have a hope of being with their lifelong spouse in this heaven and spending eternity with them, but their bible clearly says that you will not be married in heaven. That is because your entire focus and every thought has to go toward feeding the ego of this monstrous diety. That doesn't look like happiness to me.

Obviously the notions of heaven and hell taken literally is only story for very young children. There are different levels of understanding, depending on the mental and philosophical maturity of involved people. If by some miracle the heaven, as described for children and naive people, were to really exist, I think the place must be rather boring, and its inhabitants would probably want some vacation to hell, as in "Orpheus in the Underworld"...

Seriously, when you're happy, you're in heaven. When you're frightened, you're in hell. When you're angry, you're a titan, etc. The notions heaven and hell are ways to lead people of good will to reach a better understanding of themselves and the world they live in.

First of heaven has had multiple forms throughout the different religions so no I wouldn’t want to go with what I have head ether. secondly your not complaining about heaven you are complain about hell. And most of what has been written about the Christian heaven is false if you are basing your information on any writings outside of the Bible but all of the writing in the Bible saying anything about either heaven or hell show that God loves you so much that he gave his son up to die so that you could be in paradise (also known as heaven) with Him. And anyone who goes to hell simply chose not to except that love….
