What makes you believe heaven is real?

It's not. It's very misunderstood by christians. When you die your soul stays with your body. It's described as like being asleep. When the day of judgment comes heaven comes to earth and joins with it. then all the pain and suffering of the world will end. The dead then face judgement. They are either good and pass the test or impure and bad and die a second permanent death by being thrown in a lake of fire. The world restarts and God joins with man in a perfect world. You don't go to a spiritual Disneyland. there's no splash mountain or concession stands.

@strateguy632 As far as I can detect, that is literally what scripture says. Without evidence, I prefer to believe that if we pass muster, our souls are rejoined with The Creator. No singing choirs. No luxury staterooms. No 72 virgins, either. We just reside "in the arms" of The Father and are at one (atoned) with Him. If we don't, we experience spiritual death. No eternal agony. Just lights out.

My life has been saved countless times by an unknown force. Since I was little. I have seen a form of a person who carried me out of the water when I was about to die, I seen what I would later understand a very large snake , like movie anaconda type big. Heaven is as real as you are. As i hear what people experience afger life, it ssems that people are still the same after dead. They are just in a better condition i guess. You are what you are still and yoh get a job there to help people alive. There is no eternal peace it seems. You fight and argue from time to time but not as much. You just live in a different place where everythjng is better

When you're dead there is no afterlife, no good or bad one. Even if reincarnation were real, we don't remember conscientiously former existences or time in hell or heaven.
It's more likely concept of hell and haven was exploited by charlatans who use belief in afterlife for their benefits to manipulate people. "When you do what I (the god) says you go to heaven if not you go to hell". Even if higher beings like god (s) exist I don't think they need a reward or punishment system for lesser beings like humans and other sentient species.
I don't think heaven exists.

I for one, do not believe in Heaven or Hell, and WISH that I did? Would I NOT be a fool to believe that there is a better life than this one after my physical body dies? I just lost my brother to cancer on January 6, and wish so much that he went on to something better than the death he suffered.
