How real is Heaven?

I believe in a higher power but i’m not so sure who that power is.. I grew up Christian but have a lot of questions on how real it is. The bible talks a lot about ways we would be judge in order to get to heaven and to be honest it seems impossible to be that perfect just to get to heaven.. For example it said “The power of life and death is in the power of the tongue” and “we will be judged by every idle we speak” so are we not allowed to speak negative at all? Like I can’t say I feel depressed or this person pissed me off today etc

Then it talks about how there will be no pain, grief, crying etc in Heaven but doesn’t our mind, will and emotions including the sad ones make us who we are? Am I not allowed to feel a little sad or disappointed if I get to heaven and not see family members or friends?

I want to believe Jesus and God is real but it’s so many questionable things that are hard to follow like truly walking in love with everyone.. forgiving everyone, accepting everyone, loving my neighbors as ourselves even those who do us harm.. never worry because worrying is a sin.. it’s just all hard to perfect in order to get to heaven yet God accepts us for who we are but won’t allow us in heaven if we don’t live His way

Imma just throw in my agnostic two cents. I don’t believe it’s real. As you said it’s a “perfect” place but then we won’t be ourselves we’d just be drones with no free will. Or maybe we would have free will cuz Lucifer was an Angel who became the devil right? But I also believe that the only reason for religion is to tell people how to act according to this “higher power” so that we can reach that eternal place. I learned back when I was in a religion that the way into heaven was to accept the eternal power into your life and bam you punched your ticket to salvation, but what about sins? What’s the point of having these things you should never do if all I have to do to make it to heaven is accept this being into my life? Will I see a religious serial killer in heaven? What about some super altruistic atheist? It doesn’t make sense.

Exactly how I thought about it.. Like how exactly does God love us all but gave us free will knowing we’d suffer some here on earth just to earn a place with Him in heaven

Yes fr if he’s all knowing then wouldn’t he know that giving humans free will would cause chaos? Just to take that free will away in heaven? Is Earth just a trial run to see who can get into heaven if so what’s the point of even giving humans free will in the first place. Is there only a limited capacity in heaven?

You're confused.

You can't believe in something you don't know. The bible is something neither Jesus or Moses read, so you're barking up the wrong tree.

What you need to do instead is get out into the world and do better with yourself and your family.

The importance is in repenting for your sins because everyone will and has sinned so it's not something that can be stopped but it is also mentioned that we will be rewarded for all the good we have done not just judged for all the bad

Heaven is very real but we don't live in heaven but rather the new to come where we will have new glorified bodies and no longer have the knowledge of evil nor any evil thoughts and temptations.

We will be perfect and sinless and evil will be totally eradicated for good.

Not sure about Christian heaven but all our deeds will be judged and weighed before we go to heaven or hell.
