We will have a new body and be like the angels in Heaven, and I don't think they have sexual organs. There is a finite number of Angels with none dying or any new ones being created. The Bible tells us, “At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven” (Matthew 22:30). This was Jesus’ answer in response to a question concerning a woman who had been married multiple times in her life —whom would she be married to in heaven (Matthew 22:23-28)? Evidently, there will be no such thing as marriage in heaven. This does not mean that a husband and wife will no longer know each other in heaven. This also does not mean that a husband and wife could not still have a close relationship in heaven. What it does seem to indicate, though, is that a husband and wife will no longer be married in heaven and will not be needing sex either.
A joke about Heaven. A guy dies and finds himself in hell. The guy looks around and sees all the men drinking cans of beer and talking to beautiful women. He says to someone nearby, "If this is hell I'm going to love it here! The other person replies, "Oh, you think so? See those cans of beer? Well they got holes in their bottoms. See those women, they don't have any holes in their bottoms.
1) GENESIS 1 - and GOD blessed them and said be fruitful multiple and fill the earth
( THE IS BEFORE THE FALL ) and GOD is saying have sex and make children ( so before the fall they could have sex )
2) Matthew 22 - For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven
( two ways to take this!!! either there is no sex or we still have sex but are no longer made to stick together like a marriage )
3) third option
Philippians 3:20-21
But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself
( it could be that after we die we are taken to heaven and have to wait and not have sex,
until the end of days for GOD to make the new heaven and new earth to get our new bodies to have sex again IT COULD BE THAT IN HEAVEN SEX IS NOT ALLOWED BUT ON EARTH SEX IS ALLOWED )
Sure. Everyone there is in their perfect, ideal form. You will be a gathering of "the beautiful people". The angels, in particular (both male and female), are there to make heaven blissful. Jesus, the ultimate alpha-stud, plays host to the party. Every kind of joyful experience is on the table because negative feelings no longer exist.
In the "Listen to Jesus, Jimmy" scene from the movie Reefer Madness the Movie Musical, Jesus is like Tom Jones and the girl angels are hot showgirls with wings.
I thing there will be lots of love in heaven and a time to see loved ones again for eternity. I don't know if there wil be sex in heaven however it wil be very pleasurable there regardless because there will be no pain. Also with Jesus's love I think that would meet most of my needs hugs kisses. I spose if a guys need there is to have sex hel allow women to still do that their to however maybe no one wil have a sex there and it wil be more about the sould not the feeling we have now with our bodies.
I know I'll be going to heaven; I'll have to to seek God out & get some answers. I half expect to find a glamour / illusion / phantasm. I don't know how long I'll be staying but romantic endeavors will be the last thing on my mind. I seek truth, what god supposedly represents. I also will be seeking the tools of creation to destroy them if he doesn't show me something to change my will, my free will for canned sure wasn't respected or I would of never been. My focus will be on my wells of strength that I'll have to draw upon. I don't fear God. Why should I fear something that hides all the time? I'm very torn on this subject of God / truth & I'll be getting my answers, I'll endure he'll itself if I must.
I don't believe that there will be sex in Heaven or in Hell.
In Heaven, you won't need it because you'll be having so much fun doing other cool stuff. (You also won't have a sex drive/ libido. That's an Earth thing. To make babies and carry on the species.)
In Hell, the lack of sex will be a form of punishment. Of course, there may be some "sex" in Hell, but it would most likely be in the form of rape. (And not the enjoyable kind, if that's something you're into. You would be raped be demons. And it would HURT.)
In Biblical context, heaven is essentially NG+ but without any sin nor suffering; hell is simply ceasing to exist. The stereotypical concept of heaven and hell are not canon to the Bible and are just made up by the Catholic church.
And yes, it's correct that nobody is sent to hell until after the day of judgement. At the same time, nobody but God, the angels, and Jesus are in heaven. So everyone who dies is sent in a limbo until then. I don't believe in this but all of this is from the Bible when interpreted within its context.
@bingbongbangbung Our bodies are not in Heaven but when a Christian dies their spirt goes to Heaven. We don't get our new bodies until after the Rapture. Since God and the Angels are spirt beings we will be like them.
I'm not disagreeing. I'm just saying there is nobody in hell now. The spirits of the dead unbelievers are held in a certain place. Not Heaven and not hell. I guess purgatory is a good definition.
From this story of Jesus, we find some hints regarding the world beyond as it existed in the past and as it exists now. From Jesus’ description, one may say that at that time – before the finished work of Jesus on the cross – that the spirit or soul of the human dead went to a place called Hades. Some in Hades rested in comfort; others suffered under torments of fire.
ii. Hades is a Greek word, but it seems to carry much the same idea as Sheol, a Hebrew word with the idea of the “place of the dead.” Sheol has no direct reference to either torment or eternal happiness. The idea of Sheol is often simply “the grave” and the understanding of the afterlife in the Old Testament is much less clear than in the New Testament.
iii. Hades is technically not hell, or what is also known as the Lake of Fire. That place is called Gehenna, a Greek word borrowed from the Hebrew language. In Mark 9:43-44, Jesus spoke of hell (gehenna), a Greek translation of the Hebrew “Valley of Hinnom,” a place outside Jerusalem’s walls desecrated by Molech worship and human sacrifice (2 Chronicles 28:1-3; Jeremiah 32:35). It was also a garbage dump where rubbish and refuse were burned. The smoldering fires and festering worms of the Valley of Hinnom made it a graphic and effective picture of the fate of the damned. This place is also called the “lake of fire” in Revelation 20:13-15, prepared for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41).
iv. Hades is something of a waiting place until the day of final judgment (Revelation 20:11-13). Yet since Jesus’ finished work on the cross, there is no waiting for believers who die; they go directly to heaven, to the presence of the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:6-8). It is reasonable to think that when Jesus visited Hades as part of His redemptive work (Acts 2:24-27, Acts 2:31) and when Jesus preached in Hades (1 Peter 3:18-19), that Jesus set the captives in Hades free.
Daniela gave some interesting information, We both share the belief that a heaven and hell exist but as a muslim my description and view on the specific details of heaven and hell differ significantly.
I just hope and pray i don't end up in hell. Neither the christian nor the muslim version of it is nice 🤣😭
I would like to imagine God would allow it to go into Heaven with the person you were bound to in marriage or partner wise since it would align with his word in the bible, but then again I find it questionable if he would want people banging one out in his presence and in his house.
It would be awesome but apparently when we go to Heaven Feelings apparently don’t exist , We are supposed to feel nothing but peace so the urge for sex will be non existent apparently
Heaven isn't real, so there isn't anything there. The entire concept is based on books that have been long since proven false, because most of the claims made are impossible, because they contradict either themselves, or what is verifiably fact, or both.
When you dig deeper and deeper into science, more and more parts of each religion fall apart. For example, because dementia and other brain diseases cause personality changes and congnition decline, it proves that you need a nervous system of some kind to think, and that thoughts are non transferrable, so souls can't be real.
And since you need a body for sex, even if souls had existed, they not only couldn't have sex, but also wouldn't need to, since biologically sex only exists for reproduction reasons.
I dont think it would be something like a free for all but I hope I can meet up with my true love and enjoy each other's company through and through. Who knows how it may be something completely different than what we have here. Perhaps its a mental emotional or spiritual joining that feels far better than what we can ever imagine.
In the second account of Creation. The Son's of God found favor in the daughters of men and started rocking boots with them. Their Children were the Nephilim. A group of oversized bullies. Their existence was one of the reasons for the Flood.
What if this is only a training ground? If you are'n't successful creating loving relationships here, you won't be given the opportunity to do it there.
If by "intimate" you mean sexual, then I think it would be nice, but that is speaking from a human mind. From a Christian point of view there will be no sexuality in heaven, but I think once we get there it will be so perfect that we won't care.
No lol removing lust from a human brain does not make a person less human. That would mean children are less human than adults. If bc of some freak event I never got to have sex with my husband again, it wouldn't change who I am or the satisfaction I feel in our marriage.
I don’t believe in heaven but if I recall correctly everyone would basically be an Angel and I don’t believe angels are specifically male or female. Especially not biblically accurate angels *shudders*
If we describe heaven as the place were everything is always perfect and we are always happy and... ; I can't imagine humans living in such a place without intimacy
@mahdi_n. For everything, there is a season. For every thing, there is a time and place. Sex is meant to be enjoyed while living one's mortal life on Earth. That is the natural design. Once we reach Heaven we will be on a higher plane of consciousness. Sex won't even be considered as something to be desired.
Yes I wish to go to heaven after death but not to have intimate relationships because I never care about that but rather just to enjoy the beauty of heaven.
I don't think I am going to heaven, nor do I think I'm going to hell..., But yes I hope the place I'm going has intimate relationships and I think it will.
If it exsist its most likely on a plain that it will not matter at all I mean no body only a soul no much to do with intimate relasinship Its a diffrent type of exsistince with diffrent needs
Since Jews don't believe in a literal hell, we believe in "hell" just not a literal hell like Christians do, I tend to believe that there's also no heaven. I'm a big believer in "if one doesn't exist, how can the other exist". I realize I can't prove that hell doesn't exist but as a Jew I don't think a literal hell exists, as I have said already. So, I can't really answer this question based on the fact that I don't think heaven exists either. I think you just simply die.
Yes I think they are also up there and you´ll probably don´t have to worry about birth control and all those stuff because you can´t create new life up there.
I really hope not! Although I really hope there's no life after death - I can't imagine anything more anguishing than being stuck forever in the same place, with no way out, even if that place is heaven.
I see myself being happy in Heaven. Getting to hang out with loved ones and Paul Walker and Aaliyah. Sex isn't on my mind at all when in terms of going there. Like at all. Tf
@laurieluvsit Thank you for the Like. Gosh, if you and I go to the same Heaven, we could fuck each other every day. Maybe we should practice while we are alive.
