Do you believe heaven is real?

Question

I am having a hard time believe it is real.

Why?

Well because living humans have been able to create rockets that have gone to outer space but for some reason haven’t been able to go the heaven.
Heaven is suppose to be above the clouds. Well outer space is much, much higher than above the clouds.

Of course not. Heaven as in an afterlife paradise is obviously fantasy. But metaphorically it could be real in the sense of having an extremely good life.

During the Crusades, it was believed that out beyond Islamic land was a Christian kingdom, lead by a mythical king named Prester John, and that if the Europeans just pushed them far and hard enough, Prester would throw in, too, and the Holy Land would be freed. Sure enough, when the forces of Islam were deeply reeling and at their weakest, another enemy appeared, smashing into their ranks from the east, and devastating their armies. The forces of Prester John? No- the forces of Genghis Khan, who steamrolled the Muslims and then the Christians right after them, because they'd exhausted their armies with a full century of war.

So, the whole idea of another Christian kingdom far out beyond Muslim lands was wrong, right? No- they were just looking in the wrong direction. That kingdom wasn't to the east, but the south- Ethiopia, a nation that completely resisted ALL foreign attempts at conquest and colonization, from Africa, Europe, and Asia, up until World War 2, when Mussolini decided it needed to be conquered for the sake of Roman pride.

Heaven not being where people thought it was doesn't mean it's not real any more than Ethiopia's not real. Either it's not beyond the clouds or it's MUCH FURTHER beyond the clouds. It's not like random uneducated Roman citizens in 30 AD would've really understood the difference.

No I don’t. There’s a god who supposedly loves everyone but tortures them w a lot of what’s going on right now. Hunger, people dying from natural disasters, kids being sexed trafficked, etc, etc, etc. Religion has killed more people than all sicknesses combined. To think that someone could still go to heaven by simply asking for forgiveness after they’ve murdered, raped or whatever else they do. But I can’t go cause all I’ve ever did was work all my life, but I don’t accept him. By no means am I perfect but to say you’re forgiven for murdering someone so you can still walk through the gates of heaven. My point is yes we all do some bad things but some do more extreme things than others but they won’t be accepted into heaven if they don’t believe in god and accept him while others who do evil will. Maybe I’m all wrong in that. But to me it just sounds like a club, w a jealous owner who won’t let you in cause you’re not his friend.

For that, you need a body, that's why Reincarnation is far more realistic than "heaven and hell" theory.
