What is this feeling I feel after I wake up (not sleep paralysis)?

Anonymous

For a few years, I have been experiencing a strange feeling when I wake up at night and try to fall asleep again. It's hard to put it into exact words, but it's not like a nightmare or sleep paralysis because I can open my eyes, move myself, and get up. I just don't feel like I can fully wake up. There is this heaviness on my eyes, and when I lie down to sleep again and close my eyes, I feel like I am falling off a high-speed train. Then my body starts to shake (at least that's what I feel), and I feel this odd pressure around my body and I hear strange buzzing sounds in my ears.

I hear strange sounds such as two magnets hitting each other or the howling of wind, which are difficult to describe exactly. I can't get out of this sleep-wake phase right away and I can't fall asleep again because such things happen when I want to sleep. It's not like sleep paralysis, as I said, I can get up and open my eyes, but this feeling of heaviness doesn't go away immediately because when I close my eyes and let this feeling of heaviness get to me, weird sounds and tremors begin. Have any of you had a similar experience?
