Why is christianity such an easy religion?

They don't hold fast for 30 days a year. They don't pray 5 times a Day and they aren't required to pay zekat and they don't have compulsory pilgrimage

It's not- you think loving your enemies and praying for those who persecute you is easy? That having to defend God against the Church, and sometimes against Himself, is a breeze? The Christian ideal, as a wise man put it, "... has not been tried and found wanting; it has been found difficult and left untried". It does, however, have far fewer rules than the other Abrahamic faiths. Why?

Because that was the whole point; Judaism had become so mired in rules and regulations that the people were missing the point entirely. To this day, there runs around much of Manhattan island a special symbolic string, to designate the area "home" for the local Jewish population, to enable them to do necessary things in a much wider area during the Sabbath. When, outside of your home, you can't even pick up your child, you can't really operate.

Logically, then, you'd assume God wants to you stay home- but these people (these particular people, that is; I'm not bashing Judaism as a whole, here) acknowledge no distinction between the letter of the law and the spirit of the Law (not helped by God refusing to explain Himself, not that Abraham ever asked). They cease to see God as a living, reasoning entity, and just see Him as a set of rules.

So Jesus comes along and says (well, agrees with someone who says) that loving God is "more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices". It's the heart that matters, not the minutia.

Easy?  If we as much as  look  at someone with a thought in God's eyes it's exactly the same as adultery. If we get angry God says that's murder. The wide path to destruction is easy. The narrow path to Salvation won't be found by most. Love your enemy. Do good to those persecuting you. Yeah. Christianity is easy. We don't have to pray five times a day. We have to take  every thought captive.  Why? Because on the day of Judgment we will be held accountable for every thought. In True Christianity there's no purgatory. That's a false doctrine. You get Salvation or Hell. Nothing about earning your way out of Hell by buying alms. You can't do anything to get someone else in.  If you  really  think Christianity is easy then you should study it again. Take fasting. Jesus said " When you fast ", not "if". He instructed us not to make it apparent that we're fasting. And there's none of this "you can eat after sunset" nonsense. Try ten days with nothing but water at any time in 240 hours. Or for 30 days. The longest fast I've done to hear God clearly was ten days. Nothing but water. Almost 30 years ago. Of course there's nothing easier than denying ourselves, taking up our Cross and following Christ's example to our death if necessary. Because self-sacrificial love as required by Christianity is so straightforward.

Because it's easier to spread an easy religion than a hard one. Imagine two people turn up in your village and one says "follow my god and starve for 30 days" and another says follow my god and feast" which would you go for?

If God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent what would be the point of a pilgrimage? If you're seen everywhere you go and God knows what you are doing all the time, then your body is your temple. There is no hiding from God. The holy spirit is always with you, so you should always strive to have good intentions, not just when you go to kiss a black stone to appease pagan gods... Christianity isn't a religion of slavery, so there's no need to starve yourself or constantly be on your knees in worship. Christ loves you and wants you to do good things and to live. You're suppose to be fruitful and multiply... You follow Christianity voluntarily, and show your faith by following the word of God and following in the footsteps of Jesus. It's about the intent behind your actions, not just monotonous meaningless actions.

Christ never meant Christianity to be a religion. Christianity is supposed to be a pathway to connect sinful men with a pure GOD in relationship, the actual purpose for our creation.

Religion is not GOD's invention, but Mans. Man creates religion for their own purposes. Unfortunately, I can't say that those purposes are always pure of heart or on GOD's behalf.

As GOD has promised, seek and you will find.

If you wanted to follow Christianity seriously, it would not be an easy religion, yet Jesus never imposed anything on anyone, he never forced anyone to follow his teachings, the Christian is free to decide how to administer his life as he wishes.

because of the idea "grace" it is a gift from god.

about zadak we need to give tithe one tenth and encouragement to give offerings if can afford.

meanwhile rich oil arabs who believe in zadak don't help the Africans, not even their own co-religionist.

Try orthodox christianity no meat, no olive oil, no dairy, no eggs 40 plus days or nights fish only on certain days. Standing for a two hour service. And zekat doesn't do shit for the poor, under Islam countless starved as the Roman and Persian irrigation works fell to ruin. Muslim conquerors and raiders have always taken far far far more than they have given just ask my Jewish ancestors.

Christians must forgive. No matter what.

Christians must be humble.

Christians must love their neighbor as themselves, bless those who curse them, pray for those who mistreat them.

In this day and age, how many people can easily do that?

Practicing Christian’s are commanded to live their lives perfectly even though we stumble often we go are whole lives becoming better, better husbands, wives fathers, mothers, stewards of our home and finances, it’s a form of idealism.
