Which religion is true?

I don't know which religion I should believe in, should I find out by asking people or by doing research? How can I find out which religion is true?

1, which? each religion claims it is true.

2, ask people? that leads to a problem which to ask! if you choose to ask any... each one will say "MINE is true." - ! i can't expect a *preist to tell me budha is true!

3, the only option is studying books. but which book first?

i used encyclopedias and noticed flaws in all major famous ones except protestant christian the best match to existing books.

for example only christian faith is supported by the other two competing abraham faiths. talmud and quran 2,62.

No, it's definitely not a troll question, I actually asked the question because I have questions in my mind now. I am 18 years old, I grew up in a Muslim but secular family that was respectful of different ideas, but I started to have questions about religion in my mind, I read the Bible and finished the Bible, I am reading the Torah and the Quran, I just wanted to ask here because I have a lot of questions about religion.

good, so you can read sura 2 aya 62 in quran. christian is the only one that is even supported by its competitors.
if quran true, a person can be christian without even violating quran.
no distinction there. at the time quran written Christians will get heaven and no sorrow worries.

Actual facts about reality don't have the memetic staying power that old tribal superstitions do. And please don't ask me to explain that. Not only is it insanely difficult to explain genuine memetics to anyone who doesn't partially understand the topic already, but they don't take it seriously because of the word "meme".

Shortish version: Religions are memetic parasites. They manipulate human behaviour in order to reproduce, much like a disease. They're focused on spreading themselves rather than actually imparting any sort of truth. Actual truth / reality isn't inherently self-reproducing, so naturally it wouldn't have the same staying power as something adapted specifically to that role.

Same. I was born in a Christian family. Was Christian myself throughout the years but I don't know how can a man be a God and die for his own creation's sins just to come back later? I also can't grasp how Christians worship the cross idol yet preach against idolatory. It's all mixed and hypocritical

Read the Bible and get a good commentary on the books of the Bible that explains everything. I have one by the late J. Vernon McGee, who did the radio program - going through the entire Bible in a year. I would start in the New Testament because it is more relevant for today's world.

There's no evidence for any of them. When I was young and learned that there are many religions and everyone believes that theirs is the one true religion, I concluded that none are true. Most people either believe what they were raised to believe or they just leave religion entirely.

Look, I grew up in a Muslim family and I have been researching religions for a while, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Islam, all of them. So, did we come to this world for nothing? Who sent us? How did we come into being? Did this whole world and everything come into being by itself? Or does science explain this? I don't know, this uncertainty bothered me.

I would recommend the book "The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel. He was an atheist and then when his wife became a Christian he decided to use his investigative skills to prove her wrong. After all of his investigating, he became a Christian himself.

Your not asking if God is real, your asking what religion is correct I'd say none.

Religion is man made. It's about a personal relationship between you and God.
