I don't have any particular feelings towards it. Christianity my religion has it's own fasting practices, most religions do so it's nothing out of place or anything.

According to this verse, Jews and Christians will never respect you, your God says this. So why do you expect respect from Jews and Christians? I'm just wondering. Isn't that against your book?
