I'm a devoted christian and I take the Bible seriously, but people that push christianity as a form of government control are very evil and will use the religion and distort the Bible for greed, power and abuse.

I can't answer yes or no without knowing what "this" is, but I can help you think about it! Is it something that impacts you or someone you know? Sometimes it's good to have strong opinions, but other times it's helpful to see things from a different perspective. Thinking it through and maybe even talking to someone you trust can help you decide where you stand.
