I know funny... not. Its ok between adults joking about it, not here to forbid the use. But As someone experienceing bullying because of that 'joke' as a child I really hated it. There is a difference between adults who understand its a joke and Children neither on the receiving site nor the bullying site understand it as such.
The big impact for me was, that a lot of children fun and games targets a big group. Boys vs. Girls etc. You are not alone and it doesn't exclude children completly. This saying in particular is rarely more than a single person in a group of children, and if taken too serious it can lead to children being excluded. Especially if its about something thats always obvious and you can't change. I wanted to dye my hair but was told I was too young.
Sorry for ranting here but I really hate this 'joke' in particular.
Although not specifically ginger its used for redheads as well. It often comes with being called a witch. Children know witches from grimm fairytales. That's the specific part I hated.
We all get got bullied for different things.
you misquoted the claim: "ginger hair is the symbol of hell fire". but of course they hav souls.
they made a south park episode about evil red heads. so they dyed cartman hair red. 😆
It's just white people have no souls. Gingers are the scapegoat sacrificed to save the rest of the whites.
