Soul is the consciousness which is the reality of all experience. The human body doesn't have it. Just think about your dream last night, did your dreamed body have the consciousness / soul by which you experienced the dream? No, the dream is over but the experiencer is the same that experiences this this body and world.

Have you noticed that there is no way you can come up with evidence that human senses can't detect. I remember when my grandma was dying in the hospital we were in the room and she was out of it on painkillers. Suddenly she sat up in bed and gazed into the corner and said "I see Jesus!" and the biggest smile came on her face. She had tears in her eyes as she laid back down and then she was gone. I like to believe she was so happy to see the Lord that she cried tears of joy. In fact I seem to remember some experiments where they were able to capture something coming out of a body after a person dies. So who knows?

I was in a coma for a long time, but I remember looking down and seeing a lifeless body. The next thing I remember laying down and seeing lights blinking. Then nothing else afterwords until these two doors opened up and being shoved inside (I was being transferred to a rehabilitation center). Scary because I don’t remember getting out
