What do you think of Muhammad al Muqid's Nasheed?

I am not Muslim, but a number of years ago I got interested in Nasheed; Especially Nasheed made by Muhammad al Muqid (Merciful Servant channel on Youtube). I would like to know what Muslims think of his music, and if you could recommend similar Nasheed to me.

I also really enjoy listening to Adhan; I would have no problems living near a Mosque and being woken up every morning by Adhan

(Would be going to bed for me; I don't sleep well and often don't fall asleep before 6am)

Yeah, I've listened an hour to his music today; and I have saved him in my playlist list on Youtube 👍

I just love the sound of the music and vocals; sadly I don't understand what's being said of course and I am not religious so the religious messages would be lost to me... but that doesn't matter. The sound of the music and vocals matter to me

Mesut resurrected some very old rythms that essentially have been used over centuries to overcome loneliness. The beats have kept hands on ships at sea company, travelers in the desert, and shepherds out managing their livestock. Yes, they’re essentially hymns about gratefulness and being a part of the greater universe, but they’re so widely used, they’ve lost any religious messaging and are known now as folklore.

Nowadays nasheeds don’t carry as much history or artistic value, honestly. And they’re greatly opinionated on religion which is just a drag

Yeah, I was under the impression that Nasheed are always centred around religion.

Though seeing that some Musicians are pushing the religious boundaries, and many others go over it, it was somewhat clear that I wasn't right.

Over the decades my taste of music has shifted from loud music... I used to go to Raves; listen to Death Metal and all for years... to relaxing music. I listen the most to Ska, Reggae and occasionally to Soul music. I love Jazz and Blues too. Classical music is also appreciated, but I know next to nothing about that.

I occasionally listen to Adhan too. It's just a very peaceful, moving sound to listen to.
