Is there a reference to this in the bible beyond the numbers and psalms reference?

Where the enemy tastes defeat right when it seems like they are about to win the battle?

Like the Israelites who wanted to eat quail and then when it seemed like they would get their wish for banned meats, they were struck dead before finishing their food.

Or when Pharaoh saw the Israelites helpless and easy to defeat and right when he thought they could defeat the Israelites, God fought his army and his army died without even approaching or nearing the Israelites.
