I've learned through observation and cause and effect, that when you are modest and secretive about your benefits and also religious, God protects you.
But if you show off every good thing that ever happens to you, you attract many curses cause many will be jealous you have things they want and they will view you as a competitive threat to their position and power, and they will seek to stamp you out, either socially or karmically, through hostile prayers designed to ruin you.
I lost the man I was meant to be with at 19 cause a jealous guy tried to sabotage my life, and he caused temporary robbery for me but I overcame it with experience and learning. I believe the guy I talk to now is my second chance, a second chance, but with a different person.

Yes the Bible does talk about this. Like when you're fasting it says basically do your best to freshen up so you don't look horrible. God sees what you're doing and will reward you. But if you try to look bad so people can see your fasting an attempt to impress people like oh look he's really religious he's fasting for God it says that will be your only reward. Also any money you give give it in secret don't pull out a big water money to so people can see you doing it cuz people do that to be boastful and proud. The Bible says God will humble the proud and exalt those who are humble
