Am I ugly if don’t receive a lot of matches on bumble?

Well I swiped left a lot of people, cause they give you limited likes. But people there barely talk even if we matched. And I swiped left so much, that options ended. Also when your likes come to the end, they show you people you would like to swipe right💀

Bumble especially, but all dating apps more or less. But specifically Bumble, you get a lot of likes but none of them will respond to you. But it's the likes that keep you coming back, and logging time on the apps. At this point bumble has thousands, 10's of thousands of expired accounts. So, you got to ask yourself if these are even real people or are they sending me likes to keep me coming back. 1 in 10 profiles on dating apps are fake.

When like someone, you have to pay attention to their last log in time, and if it's not green... then it's mostly likely a dead account. Then you got to watch that account to see if its green or not. If they are green constantly, that means they are chatting to a lot of different people but more likely a real account. Because it was fake account, they would get flagged. But if stays green all the time, then your just one of many possibilities for this person and chances are some other people will land that fish. then break their heart, and they will be less likely to trust the next person... and if you get the date, you will only pay for the sins of all the others that came before you. Because the next guy is only one click away. It feeds the ego to get attention like that, and it goes to people's heads, and they wonder why they are always getting hurt.

Here is another pitfall with dating apps. A week or two before your profile is set to expire; you get several messages and likes after months of nothing. Why? Why all of the sudden are you getting all these messages and likes? They will tell you that is because they highlighted your account, which means you will show up in more searches... why? Because they want you to renew the subscription. Once you do renew the likes, responses and messages stop.

Lastly, most people log in and start swiping, sending likes without even reading the profiles, just trying to see if they will get any connections. You like them back, and then they actually read your profile for the first time. If you're single working mom with kid's full time, you probably will get a very minimal response. They liked the pic, but after reading the profile, they saw some things that made them reconsider.

I have done this myself several times, because I was on the apps for years. I got a lot of dates, but after a lot of failures I actually started paying attention to the profile write ups. You just start to know the things to look for, you can tell the fakes most the time. And over time you learn what ones not to waste your time with. Because other than a quick score, the life situation will probably not work out.

But the math usually works like this, you have to like 100 people. For every 100 you might get 10 replies, and forever 10 replies you might actually get to the first date. Out of every 10 first dates, maybe one will result in a 2nd date.

Congratulations you have set your expectations to high. You aren't going to get a 1% man. You likely won't get even a 10, 20 or 30% man. Accept that lower those expectations and you might have better luck

I would assume it's probably what you wrote as opposed to how you look though.

My personal experience on dating apps was that they were a waste of time and energy. I've had far better fortune just walking up to random girls who caught my eye.

I know a guy who's 6'5, fit body, and the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen, but his personality is the main reason he does well on bumble, so maybe fix up your personality to do better on bumble <3
