What Christian denominations belive that god is Jesus and what denominations belive they are separate?

Does the definition of the trinity refers to Jesus the son as a separate or an avatar of god?

You've got it mixed up. Christians believe that Jesus is God the Son. All three, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are all God, just having different attributes. Much like a man can be a father, and also be someone's son. The Holy Spirt keeps things in check here on Earth and is our helper. In the Last Days the Holy Spirit will be withdrawn back to Heaven and all hell will break out on Earth. On Judgement Day God will not be the judge, He gives that honor to Jesus as He was the one who shed His blood in our place and took our judgement. Jesus shows that he is subservient to God the Father in Heaven as He sits at the right hand of God the Father, interceding for us. It's also interesting to note that no one knows the date of Jesus's 2nd coming - not the angels, not the Son, but only the Father knows, another indication that Jesus plays the subservient role of our Savior. In Heaven and He looks just as He did on Earth, including the nail wounds in his hands and the spear hole in His side.

The same way a man can be a father, a son, a brother, and an uncle. Same person, just different titles.

They are eternal. Jesus is called the Son because a son is something that we all can understand as humans.

The whole thing was a charade to give the council a partial illusion of political support and patronage to ecclesiastical affairs when the real goal was to stomp out Arian Christianity as a rival secular power.

I don't know, that's not my understanding.

I think a lot of the challenge is the conceptulaization of God. Some beliefs won't let you do that. Christians "see" God in Jesus... that is the likeness of God in flesh.

Realize there are many different minds that work different ways... so people will perceive things differently. Some are visual, some auditory, etc. So there are different views.

Only some of the smaller cults. The mainstream has Jesus as "part". But there is only a couple who believe him to be "The Big Man".

Arian and nestorian Christianity differ from just about any other branch of Christianity.

Arianism and nestorian Christianity deny that Jesus was divine. Arianism rejects it completely while nestorian Christianity holds that Jesus was divine and mortal acting in tandem roles but separate.

I also recall, but don't quote me on this, that Gnostic Christianity also has a weird twist on this concept.

It's not so much a question of denomination. More a question of which country you're in. America is the only country I know that where some people think that. Makes no sense to me cause it's quite explicitly not the case in the Bible but whatever. The entire thing is bullshit and everyone knows it. Some people just like to delude thekself.

I believe God is separate and Jesus is Son of God given powers by God.

I am an ex Muslim convert to Christianity but I don't know what denomination is it from as I only had someone who was Christian and provided me support and understanding. I read Bible and I pray to God and Jesus Christ both 🙏. It provides me peace, it provides me relief.

And I stand with Palestine against Israel even though Evangelists have tried to convince me that Israel are chosen people.

I used to be a Muslim but I left Islam. I am sorry I still feel like a hypocrite for not revealing it openly to other Muslims including my family but I love Holy Bible and Jesus Christ 🙂.
I am not same level as other Christians because I have to hide it 😓.
Jesus did for me more than anyone else. He is not just a Prophet. He is the example of God's divinity. He was indeed with Godly powers but not God himself.
At least, I find the Bible to be truer than the Hadith and Quran people try to shove down our throats. I pray God saved me and my family.

I don't know if it is good or bad to be a Unitarian if that's what it's called but he and God bless all Christians and the their families. Amen 🙏
