I think Odin had a Christian viewpoint, what about Christ's teaching was really unique?

Christ said if your eye offend you, pluck it out. Seek the truth at all costs, you will find it.

Odin actually gave up an eye for wisdom in his mythology, in return, he got two ravens that would search the world for him. who gave him the ravens? Odin was chief God. in the Nordic myth, there is the logos spoken of by John / Jesus, that rewards you for good behavior, even rewarding the gods.

it's also just a crazy metaphor for science. which "coincidentally" developed in the same nations.

"philosophy has gone astray. natural philosophy must use new technology to hone our eyesight, meticulous data to fix our memory, and limit fanciful extrapolations. we need to become more honest and more stupid to learn what is true." Robert Hooke, 1660, discovered and drew the first cells under a microscope

Christianity is unique
Christianity isn't as unique as we've been told
