Why should anyone care what Christianity has to say or believe?

It's there for salvation of the soul... that is something to care about. It's a very hard pill to swallow when we are far from God... and we know it.

Thankfully, we have the freedom to explore it, and make our choices, in our time... without force or coercion. That is a privilege many others don't have.

I never cared about it... until I found a reason to and thus explored Christ's message.

I've seen it make a difference in peoples lives, turning them around, changing wounded hearts. Maybe there's others ways, I won't judge, but Jesus said the way "is narrow"... I think he's right. The trouble is... we are still flawed as humans, and others see us and judge Christ that way. That's unfortunate...

That said... church... is overflowing and we need a 2x size building. I'm not the only one listening... and it's a lot of young people.

It's amazing someone can say "I love you and I will take you with me to a better place"... and people listening say "F off!" I want to die the miserable B!@ard I am... leave me. That really is it in a nut shell. The wounded... stuck in their wounds. Jesus slowly, can crack through the shell with time and pressure...

Because it's the prevailing religion of the west. Regardless of what you believe, most of the social norms and laws come from Christian thought. Right or wrong, it is the base of western thought.

31% of the world population are Christian. While Christianity will not force you to study the religion, if you don't your lack of understanding about people's beliefs will cause you to have conflicts with 1 in 3 people in the world. It's really your choice if you want to understand people or not. It's not like you're going to find many people that follow your religion...

Because you're living in the universe created by the one true God, the God of the bible, whether you like it or not. He makes the rules. Yes, there are many false religions out there: Islam, Mormanism, Roman Catholicism. But Biblical Christianity is the only way to avoid Hell, and few are finding it.

People ask "what is the purpose of life? Why are we here?". The answer is that we're all given a chance to choose, Jesus'way, or our way. It's your choice.

Organized religion, Christianity specifically, provided a philosophical framework that made most of our scientific achievements today possible. Basically everything from the Enlightenment was made possible by the secular application of religious philosophies.

Well if those people are really following what Jesus taught, they are loving others. Not just their neighbors but their adversaries as well. Unfortunately most of the examples we have in the modern world are far removed from the likes of Fred Jordan, who spent his life in service to the homeless and poor, and are more like the angry hateful Westboro dolts or the Televangelists who prey on the desperate.

For me personally and for my family, Christianity has provided a solid framework to grow and learn and live generous lives. Certainly every religion has flaws as people are flawed. But I care not only what it says for me but also others.
