The problem you have is that wars occur and drive population migrations in various directions as borders are redrawn due to invading armies. The racial look of populations today in geographic areas are not the same as several thousand years ago. Just as the White man came to the Americas killing many Native Americans and driving huge population migrations in the USA, so to did the Muslims in Central Asia in their day.
