Depends on where you live as to what Asian means. Yes India is in Asia, but in the United States the term "Asian" refers to only east Asians. It does not refer to indians. In contrast in the UK Asian does refer to indians, possibly because of past colonial ties which Americans never had.

The caucasus is the region between the black and the caspian sea encompassing a few countries and the one which is furthest on the east is iran +parts of russia. And those countries are both in the western parts of asia.
India is located somewhere else... Maybe use a map?

Maybe use common sense. Race/people aren't bounded by boundaries of countries. People had legs and they could move across vast lands. Heck, you can still find people even from Africa. Population is in thousands among a billion but they're here for centuries.
The Caucasus region in Indian Vedas is called as the Aryan land. In fact the name Iran was derived from this word Aryan. During the great migration from the Indus valley of Aryan, all scattered in various regions. Most of Indians are Aryan, some are mongoloid and other types.

Yes. Not all Caucasians are white skinned and not all white skinned people are Caucasian. Not all Negroes are black skinned and not all black skinned people are Negroes. East Indians are a good example. I don't know if any are pale white. They're pretty much every skin color but pale white. Race is not necessarily skin color based. Though many believe that. Neither white or black are races but we erroneously use them as racial identifiers for Negro and Caucasian. But that's very limiting isn't it? That tends to exclude people that don't have pale white skin and don't have black or very dark skin. Isn't it funny we don't do that with the Mongol race. We don't call them "yellow". Maybe because all Mongoloids are not yellow skinned (not sure anyone really is) and not all "yellow" skinned people are Mongol race.

So yes Indians are Asian because India is on the Asian continent. Many are Caucasian race based on physical features and skin color not being one of them. Some have more Negroid.
