Is eternal life the same as heaven?

I thought heaven is completely different from eternal life. Heaven is where our spirits are and eternal life is where we have bodies that are a lot different than the bodies we have on earth. Bodies in eternal life are designed to live forever unlike bodies on earth. Would I have the right to not want eternal life if I don’t want it? I would rather be in heaven as a spirit. Do I have all that right? Heaven and eternal life aren’t the same thing, correct?

Even those who don't go to heaven still have eternal life, but in the bad place. So eternal life is not the same as just living in heaven. There is eternity in heaven, and eternity in hell, even as terrible as it sounds.
