The Bible talks about Eternal Life and I cannot fathom what that is, or would be. ?

We had a question some time ago about living forever, and under any circumstances I cannot imagine 'Living Forever" ... Can you?

No, you wouldn't live on earth eternally but in heaven and you would have a new body too.

But in order to get to heaven you believe that Jesus Christ died and Rose again on the 3rd day and that he is coming back for the Christians that accepted Jesus as their personal savior. And once you accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior ALL of your sins are forgiven, past, present and future because He died and hung on the cross so all of our sins would be forgiven and we will go to heaven and have a new body and be in beautiful heaven for eternity.
But if a person doesn't receive Jesus Christ as their personal savior and doesn't believe that he died, rose again on the 3rd day and is coming back for us then they end up in hell.
It's all about choice Bruce. It's that simple to do to ensure your place in heaven.
God loves you so much Bruce. He gave his only begotten son to die for our sins so we could be forgiven for ALL of our sins and go to heaven instead of hell.
It's a choice and we all have freedom to choose right?
There's no tricks no schemes it's just like I said. Period.

@sage2021 Thank you Sage... Tonight< went to the accident site, and picked up broken pieces of her motor cycle. Broken pieces of the wind screen all over the place around the pole.

her further, She was riding 85 MPH and flew off of the bike into a light pole, and that is why she was injured so badly, if not for the pole she may not have been injured so badly. It was in Sunset Beach, and I will go go Huntington Beach PD and try to get the report. Seal Beach PD called me today and said they could not find the incident in their records and when I found Sunset Beach, that was HB Jurisdiction>

It's hard to believe that there were still remnants of her motorcycle 🏍️
It's so frustrating when you try to get something like a police report and you are referred to go somewhere else to get it. But I can understand that in this case.
Yes, we leave it to our imagination and try to figure out - what would have happened if only that pole wasn't there 😞
I still am holding her up in my prayers and in my heart ❤️ and my mind. I can't explain how she has impacted my life and I don't even know her. But I still think about her every single day and picture her laying in that hospital bed and being so different than before her incident.
I know one thing for sure, I wouldn't want to be in the room when they wake her up and she freaks out and won't even know what happened to her or where she is at.
I really hope they sedate her because to see your own body not the way it once was, and then she will undoubtedly be in agonizing pain on top of everything else.
She will probably have to go to a rehab hospital and who knows If she will ever go home again.🤷🏼‍♀️
She will have to find people who can help her with her life.
Are you going to go and see her one day?
I know that you two weren't really close but you have seemed to have grown fond of her for some reason. I think that is so sweet of you Bruce. Maybe one day you will want to help her with something - I don't know what exactly but she is going to need all the help she can muster up.
I know for a while you were upset with her because of the alcohol but now it's not in the forefront of your mind anymore. You're beyond that.

@sage2021 when I get home, I’m going back to the accident site and talk to the guys in the bar that saw the accident and see if they can tell me what happened.

I think what bothers me so much is that I saw her before it happened one night going home from work. I was just going into the store and that was the last I saw. her.

I had a few conversations with her and she stopped and talked to me in the parking lot one night going home and had a great big truck and I was thinking well she’s protected.

So young, so pretty, so tiny and I just can’t imagine that she was so reckless I think would bother me so much. I keep thinking back to when I was 21 and 22 and the things I enjoyed the trips I made the young girls that I met in Florida and the wonderful times I had that age and hers has all disappeared in a heartbeat, and it breaks my heart to think about it.

If I can, I will go see her at the hospital and if there’s anything I can do for afterwards, I certainly will and I’m sure you know that

And this is the way I see you have to fight to get here and then you live life to die that is our destiny first of all become one with self one with others and one with our universe our universe is God our Temple is God ourselves we are part of God but when you leave this planet and you walk into that white light everything that you've done you're going to be confronted we are our own judge and if you did not overcome the things that you've done it's going to be confronted to you in that white light and it's going to scare the crap out of you and if you run you did not take care of it and you run you're going to live life again you're going to come back to this planet and do it again if you take it on and confront everything that was in your heart in your mind you're going to keep walking through that white light and then you're going to go to your destiny but it's very simple that's why we need to be the best we can be and we are all supposed to be one unit one myself one with others one with the universe our God there's a reason for all this with no drama with no judgment it's love and happiness and helping each other that's all of our destinies to do this but we have ignorant people we have drama makers we have a holy war going on right now all the negative people are constantly going to all the good people trying to get them involved with drama and hate and destruction don't go there keep on your path stay away from people with drama stay on your path make it through that white light so eternal life first you have to get past the life on this Earth and I'm sure we've all been here more than once

Well that's cool to hear that there's somebody that believes what I believe in I mean I've never read the Bible before but I know a lot that's in there because I'm told true whoever it is to communicates to me that's one of the powerful things about not watching TV or even listening to the stereo just silence and it's a meditation and things will come to you and just because I say what I say it does not mean that I'm right I can say that but it's the same time I know each and every day I'm getting closer and closer

In our current, physical bodies yeah. Eternity sounds insane. But you assume that “everlasting life” is contained within a physical form of some kind but I don’t think that’s the case. I imagine eternity is much easier to look at when you don’t have a body.

@cupcakethedestroyer I can imagine what you envision, after seeing the film "LUCY" If you see that film, you can see why the "energy' idea makes sense. The film is great in my opinion, and have a rather big name cast. If you view the film, give me your thoughts about 'living forever", as it makes sense in the context.

I meant more in a spiritual sense than the pseudo science fiction of Lucy. Our spirit requires attention and care same as our physical body and mind, which I can see as a kind of… suit, of sorts. Think of it sort of like a video game. The spirit is the player where the body is the character and the mind is the game menu with full access to not only the inventory but also the save points to ensure solidified memories. And when we’re not playing the game, aka when our physical bodies no longer serve us, we’re out doing other things that matter to us. And because our spirits are in our bodies we can’t necessarily exist on the plane where only spirit exists, we have to wait until it’s untethered, meaning our game has no pause buttons but we can still enjoy it. Does that make sense?
