It's winter time. More people die in the winter.
I had a friend who used to sell bibles for a living. And one of the tricks he'd use is he'd look up obituaries. And he'd contact the family about the person who had just passed having ordered a Bible just days before that he didn't pay for yet. And more often than not the family was so comforted by the fact that thier loved one had reached out to God just before thier death. That they'd pay for the Bible.
He sold a LOT of bibles that way.
