Would you ever expect your partner to convert to your religion to be together?

Obviously its best to search and date within the religion but if under any circumstances G-d sends an absolute mensch.

I would PREFER that she also be atheist or agnostic but, if not, I wouldn't force her to change. I just don't do that to people. My last 2 fiance's were religious but I never made either of them give it up just because I didn't like it. If you're my girlfriend, you do you, as long as you're loyal.

Religious adherence is the cornerstone of a personality. You're not going to get far if the very personality is clashing

Not at all, nor would I expect them to want me to convert either. Religion is a deeply personal choice and should not be forced on anyone, even by a partner.
