Why or why do you think people raised in strict religions/strict cultures are short tempered?

Sometimes I observe it in folks in my day to day like you know, you see "secular looking folks" of any sort of religion who seem quick to fly off the handle, quick to be annoyed or upset. I mean why so mad y'all. Must be all the rules they live by daily I mean the "religious rules" to do this do that and on the dot.
