Do you believe in Twin Flames and have you ever met yours?

I didn’t really believe in this before and after reading about it, I am convinced I have recently met my twin flame.

it has felt like a very intense chemistry,, which came out of no where.

The problem is we are both married to other people , so not going there, but it’s just a bit crazy how these things can suddenly happen.

Anyone experienced that?

I didn’t really believe in twin flames but I think I met mine. We were both in the end of a failing relationship at the time but the chemistry was off the charts. We felt like we’ve known each other for a long time, we realized our childhood pretty much overlapped, he was basically me in male form so I saw a lot of my flaws in him and it helped me better myself.

(Not proud of this part) but we ended up sleeping together and the sex was out of this world. We finally ended our respective relationship and we’ve been together ever since. The journey is super tough though… we both had to go through a lot of healing from our past traumas and what not but we’re cruising now.

I dated someone for a year and a half and every now and then I get a strange feeling and I can tell she posted a picture I took off her or of places we've been. I have since married someone else and we've both said things to each other that answered questions we were thinking but not said. We just know what each other is thinking all the time.

Yes 💯 feel it’s the same way, it’s a very spiritual thing like you are connected emotionally, intellectually on the same level. Sometimes I feel like you don’t even need to say anything you just know what the other is thinking. I’ve never had anything like that in my life, so it’s very enlightening if also scary.

That's exactly what it's like. We were long distance for a while but it never felt like we were long distance. We've never argued and we like all the same things even though our lives couldn't be more opposite.

I do believe in this and have had quite a few odd spiritual experiences.

Let's just say you can feel crazy things, energetic openings, with complete strangers.

The concept of twin flames is a little different though. That implies they're sort of cast, from your soul. I did meet someone I felt that way towards. She was so beautiful I could just not stop looking at her. But things can be illusory. I also have my own traumas, so I refuse to unduly chase anybody out of self respect. Meet me half way is all I merely ask.

I know what you mean, but I guess it feels more than just attraction, it’s just connecting on an emotional. Spiritual as well as physical level. Like you don’t need to even say things, you just feel like the other person knows.

Don't think it's uncommon as people have generally lived similar lives so have similar takes on life so perhaps have common behaviours and outlooks on life. Being able to interpret and predict another's behaviour is thus probable.

No, I didn't think you were going to cheat. I would have had way more to say If I thought you were. This is still gross. Imagine for a second that your husband felt this way about some woman he met? Does that seem ok to you? I can't think of anything that would be more hurtful to any husband short of having an affair. I don't understand how you don't seem to get why I think this is so messed up.

But I do get it, I totally get it. If anything I feel it’s awful and what kind of person am I to suddenly have feelings for someone else. I wouldn’t looking for it and yes I’d be devastated if my husband felt like this for another. Part of me things though there are other issues in our marriage and this has highlighted that, it’s not right, but it has brought a lot of things to light. If anything I feel sad that I even could feel like this for another. It’s like an internal conflict, I can’t describe.

I agree that you should take a look at your marriage. This isn't so much a sign of issues (though there may be issues)

To me this says, you shouldn't be married to your husband if you can feel this way about someone else.

I would want my wife to leave me if she thought some other man she met was a twin flame.

I 💯 agree with you. I also think that maybe a divorce is on the cards, as you say it’s not right. It’s so difficult because I work with this person, not the same team, but we see each other daily on the same floor. I’ve been trying to avoid him, but as you can imagine it’s tricky sometimes when you have the same meetings etc.

I think a divorce is indeed in the cards. I am actually quite happy to hear you say so. I think its the right thing to do. You won't be able to avoid him. Continuing on in this marriage, would be unfair with you seeing this guy at work (no matter your efforts to avoid him). It's not right that someone you feel that way about exists at all while you've got a husband, working with him makes it even more wrong to stay married.

I can say, you are not the person I thought you were originally. You do seem to be someone who is interested in doing the right thing. You seem like a moral person. You seem like a good person.

The fact that you aren't trying to justify this in any way, speaks highly to your character.

I hope you do what you need to do. It's the only fair and right thing to do.

It's what I would want you to do if I were in your husband's shoes.
