In general we choose the "more plausible " explanation. A building can be built by cranes or by an alien telepathy, anything is possible but we choose the more plausible explanation, similarly if nothing existed then a "sudden expansion big bang" with nothing, is less plausible than a creator.

Almost 50 years of living. I was once told, "for those without God there can be no explanation, and for those with God there need no explanation". It took me a while to fully understand the depth of that statement. At the end of the day a leap of faith will be required. And as somebody of faith if I could pass one message to atheists and agnostics it would be, "it's called faith for a reason". Some days it's easier to have faith than others.

I don't necessarily believe in a Christian god, but I do believe in a higher power and the universal tenets of a lot of religions of loving your neighbor and treating others the way you want to be treated. It's a faith in a way that understands that things happen for a reason whether we understand it or not and it's better to leave this world in a place of mutual respect and love rather than discriminate against others.

There's nothing that makes me think God is real. I was taught to believe in God and Jesus but I never really did. When I was 10 or 11 I realized it was all nonsense.

@jahaims it's my own belief, you don't have to believe in it, you can choose what science tells you or what other religions tells or maybe have your own belief!

My mind extends to the unknown but no matter what's out there, i believe that it's in god's power!

There might be things in the universe that will be forever beyond our minds and will be forever unknown...
