Anyone else praying for peace in the middle east?

Question

With the Iran, Gaza, Israel thing going on and now the US getting involved and all the deaths already so far i pray for peace soon. Was talking to my partner about at least he won't have to serve and he mentioned that he could be called up again as former military tomorrow if it came to war. What a nightmare. #Pray4Peace 🙏

Strange choice of time. AFTER the cease fire at midnight June 23, you pray for peace... but everyone who knows TWENTY muslim countries "refuse to recognized israel has a right to exist," knows not to EXPECT hope for peace there, until those countries, lebanon iraq iran etc. Will actually stop trying to destroy israel.

I wish that it was possible. However, there has been war in thee middle east for a thousand years. There will never be peace there. They do not want peace. They are sitting on a mountain of oil, enough for every person to be rich yet they average citizen lives in poverty. All they want to do is chant "Death to America" Death to Trump" Death does not mean anything to them. The believe that if they die killing an American they will b rewarded with 52 virgins. . Any sane person would want to keep a nuclear weapon out of their hands.

I don't pray because I'm not religious, but I'd certainly like things to settle down. I don't want the US to be involved for sure, we have no business attacking other countries unprovoked, but I don't want suffering for anyone, especially not all the civilians of the various nations that are getting harmed in this process.

prayer is good and God can solve anything... however people have free will for a reason and as for now pain, loss, death, and suffering are all those people know. It is so easy to get caught up in our support for a side we forget they are all people with families and hearts, I truly hope for peace and hope the war can be ended not for my sake or theirs but for the worlds. No matter how bad or good you are no one deserves to die like some of those people do. I am sorry to anyone who has to see this carnage

A lot of people are talking as if WW3 is about to start.. Not at all.. Iran doesn't have the allies nor the power to start up a war of that magnitude... I mean most of their ways to get nuclear power was just destroyed.. Plus Trump did a stealth strike.. He didn't make any declaration of War.. Also, Iran is a menace.. If we allowed them to get a nuclear arsenal, we would really have to worry about War at that point.. There's literally a 10 year Civil War that's been happening in Yemen in the Middle East.. There's also something happening..

Technically what I want could qualify as that...

I mean the middle-east has been a perpetual war-riddled shithole for thousands of years and it has exported nothing but strife and idiocy to the world... so I want everything between Egypt and India carpet-bombed into plate glass until not a single human-adjacent life remains...
So yeah... peace in the middle-east would be great... as long as it is the kind of peace where literally EVERYONE is dead and all their infrastructure and everything they've been fighting over is destroyed.

Prayers don’t do it, The Middle East is a hot mess with conflicts.

Conflicts caused by men for their political aspirations that go against what is best for their citizens. And all religions have a dark side to them, Catholic Church gave safe haven to Nazis to go to Argentina for example.

I would like a centralized Govt that looks after all citizens, not just their religious subscribers and a complete demilitarization too for the benefit and well being of the people they govern too. The Middle East is a mess and needs cleaning up.
For ‘prophets’ to come down in the region, it seems they lost their way from the teachings and values of the past.

Yes, with enough peaceful actions maybe it's possible. But that remains to be seen if they can withhold firing more and make positive gestures... like feeding Gaza, freeing people and unraveling the mess... while watching missiles fly over and possilby kill Americans and others.

It will be a tall order...

I wish they would stop, but it’s unlikely. For the wars in the Middle East to end, the people living there would need to be atheized (to prevent religious conflict) and the region stripped of its oil and natural gas resources. Until those conditions are met, temporary peace deals won’t stop the fighting. Unfortunately, in the Middle East, if a country isn’t strong, the strong crush and slaughter the weak and move on.
