Lately I’ve been feeling quite depressed about it. Watching all these kids losing limbs and being treated without anaesthesia. Honestly so heartbreaking 💔

Very much so- but this is war. Given that they voted Hamas into office, it's hard to say that isn't, on some level, what the Palestinians wanted- they just wanted it for Israel, not for themselves.

I remember when the start of Operation: Fuck Iraq began, about half of the country supported the war; I wonder what the overlap between those who praise Palestine and those who sought to level Iraq is.

War is hell. That's why you don't start them unless you're willing to deal with the outcome. The fact is a war was provoked by Hamas (Islamic Socialist). The majority of Palestinians support Hamas and their actions. While the state of Israel allowed the attack to occur even though they had actionable intelligence to prevent it, the attack did still occur granting the politicians who run the state of Israel a valid casus belli to defend their population... The state of Israel issued warnings to the Palestinians and allowed non-militant civilians to evacuate prior to the siege Gaza. Thus those who stayed behind are there to fight. At anytime during a siege people inside the castle can surrender and walk to the adversaries line and give themselves over as a prisoner of war. The people of Gaza are not doing that, so it's obvious to anyone with a brain that the fight continues and the Palestinians still in Gaza want to be in that position running an insurgency. Israel is striking valid military targets. At times that leads to collateral damage. You can evaluate individual operations and determine if proportional force was used in that instant to hold particular people accountable, but the overall operation is in line with legal warfare.

NO JUSTIFICATION for violent retaliation toward israeli army doing the NECESSARY rescue mission. certainly not to retaliate toward at jew unarmed civilians. we need to remember the israeli helped arabs evacuate north gaza ALIVE. not genocide just war. russia is losing far more soldiers EACH day that is war.

i also feel empathy for the hostages that #palestinian abducted many jews from home and personal lives and great trauma. jews still held hostage FOUR months later.

biden "confirmed nine American citizens were also hostages" but biden abandoned them and is not sending troops for a rescue mission.
netanyahu offered a temporary cease fire if they release all the hostages NOW but palestinians do not want talks.
