Some thousands of years ago today might say, but you all sacrifice your unborn babies like similar to what we did to Molech back in our day.

Obviously not everyone does that, but still, many do or agree with it.

That being said, everything that Contradicts the word of God is Satanism, which first and foremost includes reading the Bible THROUGH the eyes of TRADITION!!! Many, almost most do it.

Modern Satanists are just atheists with attitude. They don't believe in God or Satan. They created the Church of Satan just to aggravate Christians, and so they can ask for equal space whenever there is any Christian presence in public space. Christmas tree in a public park? The Satanists will put up a statue of Baphomet. Bible distribution in a public school? The Satanists will be there with the Satanic Bible, which is nothing more than a humanist philosophy.

If you’re talking about the Satanic Temple, they’re actually atheistic as a religious group. They don’t worship Satan, but rather the ego, not in a conceited way, but in a more spiritual sense. They’re all about making sure people who deserve kindness receive it in spades, and you as a person also deserve to love yourself and make space, and if anyone goes against that then they shouldn’t be in your life.

I don’t know if there are cases like this where you live, but here, some Satanists actually perform rituals and sacrifices… Last year, a Satanist girl beheaded her former friend, and when her mother came upstairs, she threw the head in front of her. Then she killed herself. All of us girls were so scared, we couldn’t recover for a long time.

I saw your question just now and was studying that yesterday.

It appears that, like Christianity, there are several factions of Satanism.

The 'Church of Satan' was founded in San Francisco, where I am, in 1966 by Dr Anton Szandor LaVey. It is now headquartered in New York.

They believe Man is God and don't actually believe that they are any spirits, not good one or bad ones. Like Ironically, they don't believe Satan is a spirit but more of a anti- religious rebellion concept.

They are not into evil. They are most closely related to ordinary Atheists.

There are some Satanistic factions however that are pure evil and do believe in evil spirits and do gross and evil things.

I have not studied those yet and not sure I will... lol
