When Jesus said you are not to refer to yourself as an instructor, what does he mean?

Does he mean you must not be a religious commandment overseer or involuntary spiritual guide of peasant civil affairs?

Or does this apply to social categories outside religion as well such as human relationships, business relationships, mental relationships with ideas etc…

And I'm 7 years old. I came home from church one day and I told my mother that I was never going back. Because the priest red part of the bible and then he tried to tell us what it meant and that if we did not follow what he was saying that it was about we would go to hell. When he read the passage from the bible I got a whole different completely meaning from it then what he was saying.

One teacher. I think with a title. He did not want people using their authority with that title. But I'm not sure. Good question tho
