It’s not really either. The whole idea of paradise and damnation is to make us believe in an unchanging landscape that provides either nothing but suffering or nothing but joy for eternity and you get to go to those places depending how you lived. But earth is a constantly changing landscape, nothing in life is permanent and that’s part of the joy and challenge of living. This is a question meant to ask for perspective but you can’t really compare permanence to impermanence, that’s apples and oranges you know?

Both. It can be both. Heaven: love, romance, music, good food, friendships, adventure, sunsets, beaches, oceans, mountains, valleys, skies.

Hell: rape, torture, being burned, crushed, cut, losing limbs. losing loved ones, losing children, broken bones, injustice, disasters, disease, poverty, hunger, want, loneliness.

There is a Christian saying that life on Earth is the closest someone who is saved will ever get to hell and for someone who is lost and rejects salvation it is the closest they'll ever get to heaven.

I don't believe in heaven or hell. I do believe there may be a plane of existence we don't fully understand, but none of the made up nonsense humans have made up due to their fear of the nothingness of death.

Life on Earth is just that... life.

Earth in the beginning was meant to be a paradise for man until the fall happened then it turned less into a paradise and more into hell if you want to look at it like that.

But it was never really either heaven and hell are separate from earth.

It's a bit of both and neither at the same time. Like the highs are at the time heavenly and the lows worse than hell when you want to end it and just disappear so the goal of reaching for the highs and enduring the lows is something that age and wisdom make life tiring and hard work

Neither. Earth was created by God. Ergo in that sense everything on earth is of God. However God ALLOWS Satan influence (arguably dominion) over this world.
