Trending & News I can only speak for myself. When I got married, our parish only noted a customary gratuity for the priest and the altar server; I think it was $50 for each. They asked for $250 for the church itself. And that was it.
it might be dressed up as a donation but cleaning up confetti is expensive. So they should get a fee.

Yes, same as other religions, they DON’T think " i am doing a religions ceremony for god". Most religions are just businesses with money the "most important thing". As a certain Christian told me.
Sadly the church is becoming like a corporate industry, they only care about money!
